Re: A Definitive 51% Determination Guide
This is the same arguement that goes with the 30.06 signage, just backwards. If the 30.06 signage is wrong (incorrect size, placement, etc) it's not valid. But if the 51% signage is wrong (missing, not clearly seen or whatever) it means nothing. How can we, the CHL holder, be accountable for the sta...

Talk to their superiors, tell what went on from your view. Make sure they know you're not doing this to get anyone in trouble. But if there's something that needs to be done, now is the time.
The next person may resist, as someone suggested earlier, and the results could be injury or even death.

#1 - STOP WHERE YOU ARE, I WILL PROTECT MYSELF
#2 - STOP WHERE YOU ARE, I HAVE A GUN
Both yelling as loud as I can. In #1, I would be ready to draw my gun if the threat became real. In my garage, the gun would be drawn, the threat is already evident.

I carry a wallet card with my attorney's name & 24 hour number along with the statement, "If it is your intention to detain, question or arrest me, I request to speak with my attorney before answering any questions." You don't have to wait for the police to envoke your maranda rights. ...

OK, I'll give everyone the plan. First, hear the noise. Grab the 45 & the flashlight. With flashlight in left hand, 45 in right, raised and ready, begin slowly searching property in the dark. If BG encountered, hit the "instant-on" button on flashlight while saying, "STOP, I HAVE ...

Re: Out To Get Me.....
I like Kimber's Guardian Angel, it fires two 90mph blasts that can reach out 3 yards or more. Haven't needed to use it yet, but it fits well in the pocket or purse and has a long shelf-life. (think it was three years???)

I find the best solution is a good quality flash-light. It makes you handle two items unless you can add a light to your gun (had one on my Sig), but I get a better sight picture. And not only can I see the BG, the BG gets a whole lot of blindness.
