Re: No place but Montana
No place is a good place to have sushi. That's what stoves are for. But the farther from the ocean the more suspect it would seem. Well, I wouldn't buy gas station sushi, but I’m going to otherwise disagree with you. I’ve eaten sea urchin right out of the shell while the spines were still wiggling....

I'd say Army targets "pop-up" and are way more realistic than turning targets  My training system is designed to very intentionally reduce the nervousness of students. I have found that is the best way to learn. Add stress only when needed. 34 years ago at Ft Dix, the pop up targets...

Re: TX: one dead at shooting during police protest in downtown Austin tonight
“The testimony confirming Perry's anger toward protesters came on the third day of the trial as prosecutors displayed text messages and social media comments showing that he thought about killing them. "I might have to kill a few people on my way to work, they are rioting outside my apartment ...

Can't say I need one... But I'd definitely like to have one. Possibly one in 308

Re: Got pulled over in Fort Worth
I have not been pulled over in years but if I did and some cop wanted to search my car, I would tell them to kiss me where the sun never shines. I have figured out that cops NEVER ask questions because they are wanting to know how your life is going. They are on a fishing expedition. Fortunately, I...

Re: TX: Austin man defending his home with rifle from burglars shot and killed by police
I have to say this. Sometimes we make mistakes and we learn from them. Other times we make mistakes that we pay for and everybody else learns from them. Standing in your front yard firing off a rifle is never a smart move. EVER! At least not if you live in a suburb. Now my SIL's parents lived on 80...

Re: IWB Holster Recommendations...
I have the Galco Kingtuk. And I love it for my Kahr P40. I have a bit of a spare tire, although it's closer to a bike tire now as opposed to a car tire like it was when I first bought the Kingtuk. And It's very comfortable and easy to conceal. When I bought mine, they only had the Kingtuk, but I gu...

Re: Nice Axis from 2021 Opening day for white tail
Opening day for white tail 2022 I shot another Axis from the same stand. This one was a scrub. 120 Pounds of quartered deer to the processor. Should be able to pick it up 1st week of December. I missed the Antler on this one. The sun was higher in the sky. My only issues were around 15 other Axis c...

Re: Why not?
I don't currently have any drum magazines. From what I've read, they're not all that great. Lots of issues feeding. I just got a kick out of such a tiny pistol with a drum. I don't carry the LCP. It's too small for my hands, and I was looking for an extended magazine so this would be a better fit fo...

Why not?
Not sure this is practical, or even useful but it made me giggle when I saw it. I had it in the shopping cart when the wife came in. So I was saved from my impulse buy. But I may go back and pick it up if the thought continues to make me laugh. https://www.buymymags.com/ruger-lcp-lcp-2-380-acp-32-ro...

Re: Train or Not to Train
Training is what can make the difference between surviving a deadly assault and not. It also greatly reduces the chances of you harming an innocent person while defending yourself. :iagree: There are lots of things that can go wrong with out proper training. NRA Personal Protection training is an e...

Re: Selling Several Guns
My first carry gun was a Ruger SR9C. I love that gun. Nice sweet trigger. More slender than a Glock 19 so it fits better on the hip. Works great too. I sold mine to acquire the aforementioned Glock. I'd love to replace it. Unfortunately I just purchased a different Ruger. A GP100 .357mag with a 4.2...
