Re: Woman faces life in prison for trying to save baby ducks
As a motorcyclist I prefer consistency. Consistent traffic flow, consistent breaking, consistent lane following and signals when changing, and consistency in road surface (not really another driver's fault - but it did cause a broken foot.) When someone violates these consistencies it makes it diffi...

I admit, I argued with a New Yawker over Texas CHL laws. Kind of like shooting fish in a barrel.

Re: open carry on private land
I had it wrong.. PC 46.15 makes it legal for you to carry, either openly or concealed, on property you own or control. Not land you control - need to be hunting or involved in similar sporting activities that involve a firearm. What is the difference between property and land? I have 5 acres of lan...

Re: Front Load Washers
I have the Kenmore Elite series washer/dryer as well, and I do not regret it - great products. After eight trouble free years, last March my washer started throwing an error code during the spin cycle. I did some online research and found that people were saying the relays would crack the solder joi...

Another reason to dislike Nickelback
Two Idaho cops detained a man after mistaking his gripes about the Canadian rock band, Nickelback, for an alleged drug deal. Deputies with Kootenai County Sheriff’s Office stopped two men outside a Coeur d’Alene gas station on June 20 after hearing what they thought was a pot deal. The confrontatio...

What does it mean when the TABC website has a blank by their "gun sign" field? Anyone know if they are posted? I am going to take a guess and say they don't sell for onsite consumption. Free taste samples don't count as far as I know. That was my thought, thanks for backing it up. I hope ...

Re: Possibly visiting the Capital tomorrow...
Haven't been in a while, has anything changed in the last several years? Still have the express lane for CHLs I assume? Just don't bring a knife.. :-) Why's that? I took a knife in to the capitol, didn't know I shouldn't. Also had keys in my pockets, big DSLR over one shoulder and a camera bag over...
