Re: USAA and 30.06

I've never even bothered looking at USAA given their anti-freedom stance. But are they really that much cheaper, and/or is their customer service really that much better, than the other insurance companies out there? Yes, we have to compromise sometimes, but only when the benefits are compelling en...

Re: North Korea claims attacks on US will kill more than 9/11

But the oppressed of North Korea, including the brainwashed ones who would cheer American tragedy, those guys are victims. What a benighted people. Too bad they don't rise up and get rid of the pustulating carbuncle on humanity's backside they have as a leader. I agree with that. It's not a good pl...

Re: Ft. Worth Zoo Update

I do not understand that law.
At least the AG should have some courtesy to simply say, "..nope, just don't want guns there.. no other reason.."

They seem to be ignoring that facts.. Or they can't read. One or the other. Not sure which is worse.

Re: Ft. Worth Zoo Update

Really? Citizens need to submit lease agreements with their complaint.
I would have just attached a copy of the tax records for the property.

Re: It appears that GOP is doing what the left wants

As a businessman he's also demonstrated a rich history full of substantial and catastrophic failures as well as great success. I'd characterize it as a methodology of great risks and great rewards. He seems to do it with other people's money, which isn't at all that different from running the govern...

Re: It appears that GOP is doing what the left wants

My prayer is that it doesn't come down between Hillary and Trump. That seems to be the most likely outcome currently, unless the Republicans buck the people that elected them. Hillary's stance on guns, I don't like. However, I'm not a single issue voter. I'm much more offended by her lack of transp...

It may be good for Apple in that existing phones are known to be crackable. Some people with buy the uncrackable higher-encryption version that Apple is working on as we speak.. :-)

Re: Is This Sign Legal?

I wasn't very clear, but I was referring only to Grisham not being able to successfully win a lawsuit because of his loud mouth and alleged obnoxious personality. I apologize for the confusion. : My apologies for the lack of comprehension.. I didn't see any coverage of Grisham's trial, but I'd be s...

Re: Is This Sign Legal?

Tracker, You don't need grounds for a lawsuit. You can sue anyone. And the gun-busters sign thing - you're right, someone could get that wrong, but it's a lot easier to get the 30.06/30.07 and government property thing wrong, heck, lots of cases we have to look up who owns the property. Saving someo...

Re: It appears that GOP is doing what the left wants

Trump is Dems mole to destroy the GOP. GOP was rotting anyway. You either re-generate and flourish with the new demographics change or you just decompose, your choice. Blaming this on the Democrats is a huge failure to take responsibility, I'd never say that. The Republicans did this to themselves....

Re: A Dishonest Dallas Doctor

If it's a network provider they cannot balance bill. Agreed.. But at the front of that issue you usually signed something when you walked in that you agreed to the "balance" of services. If they balance bill you, it's a contract violation between them and the insurer, which can be a real ...

I can imagine how his testimony would endear a jury so that they felt he was an innocent victim who was wronged. WildBill, I can present it from either side. Don't confuse my ability to do that with my opinion on right or wrong. If you think I'd present my case indicating that I felt the LEO who ar...

Re: Is This Sign Legal?

Thanks for posting those. The more cases that throw out qualified immunity, the better. I'd argue that these are pretty egregious cases - basically indicating a lack of basic legal knowledge about the right to carry a firearm. Cases where there is a valid 30.06/30.07 sign on government owned buildin...

Re: UT Tyler Campus Carry Policy

The majority of shootings that have occurred on college campuses and other locations have been where guns were prohibited. Virginia Tech, Aurora Colorado, etc.. So if you're talking about school shootings, I agree, most of those would likely be "gun free zones". If you're talking about ma...
