Re: Cops called on CA gunstore owner because of his sign
I did notice that the reporter at the beginning had good trigger discipline. I got the impression she is not unfamiliar with handling guns. He shouldn't be waiving a sign around in such a threatening way. Someone already has been hurt. He said he got a paper cut. And some snowflake probably messed t...

I picked up a Ruger LCP a couple of weeks ago when Cabela's had them on sale. Going to be in my pocket.Eric Lamberson wrote:This is where a pocket pistol comes in handy. I always have a J-Frame in my pocket until the house is completely secured for the night.

Realization comes home - always carry. Even at home.
Hearing of people carrying when they are home always struck me as a bit not paranoid but a bit much. After all, what could happen at home? Well, a couple of nights ago I had something happen that made me rethink carrying while I'm home. It was around 11:00 at night and when I went to take the trash ...

Re: Please fix location of prohibitions as in..
Anti 2ndA are muddying the water and the legal battles are not favoring our rights. Please fix the location of prohibitions. Amusement parks, Zoos, Government building/courthouses. Dropping the fees does help increase the LTC numbers, but our rights to where we can carry is still an extreme priorit...

Re: Break in period garbage
There is a recent post about a Kimber problem http://www.texaschlforum.com/viewtopic.php?f=23&t=87070 with a similar topic. I agree with the OP 100%. If it doesn't work correctly right out of the box it goes back. I just don't understand this philosophy of 500 rounds downrange to break it in. I...

Re: Star-Telegram article on carry at Ft. Worth zoo
They think they can exclude LTC because they're a "daycare" facility. The AG ruling only had to do with the fines for signs.
I hope the issue with a private business posting on government owned property is resolved soon.
Does anyone know if they still have the combo 30.06 /07 signs up?

Re: Ohio State Active Shooter Alert
Why aren't Muslims marching in the streets condemning this? It is being called a terrorist attack. Brings to mind the saying, "If you don't explicitly condemn something, you implicitly support it."

Think about the statement below: "We do so fully aware that the number of votes separating Donald Trump and Hillary Clinton in the closest of these states -- Michigan -- well exceeds the largest margin ever overcome in a recount,“ Elias said. " http://www.bloomberg.com/politics/articles/2...

Re: Recounts?
Whining about Hillary winning the "popular vote" so she should be President. Sorry. That isn't the way it works. Are you too stupid to understand that? Members of the electoral college receiving death threats. I guess tolerance only goes one way. Libs have no tolerance for opinions other t...

Re: Texas3006 iPhone App - Major new update!
Doncb, When the map loads it should center on your current location. Please ensure you have granted the app location permissions. I don't have location services turned on. Sucks the life out of the battery. The prior version always loaded with north America showing and it was easier to zoom to the ...

When the prior version loaded, the map was of North America. Now when the map loads it shows Europe.

Re: What argument to KEEP 06/07 signs?
Because we are just so darn law abiding, we want to be able to see the signs at a distance so that we can joyfully comply with the owner's wishes and leave our gun in our vehicle. A small 8.5x11 sign will make this harder. I want the law changed... to say that any sign must be displayed at the oute...
