Re: Open carry to protest the election

Here's a better idea https://thepostmillennial.com/bongino-backed-parler-soars-to-1-spot-in-app-stores-passes-tiktok-and-youtube Apparently, there's a large group effort going around for people to ditch Facebook, Instagram, and Twitter to join Parler. I don't have any of the three to ditch, but I di...

Re: End the winner takes all?

To add, I believe we should change our voting system to an instant runoff or contingent voting system. It would not significantly increase cost, and it would allow more political parties to be taken seriously without the risk of repeating 1996. I may consider myself a "Republican" right no...

Re: "Protesters" are on the way... as planned now for weeks

NOBODY is talking about the faithless elector factor. We had a small handful of faithless electors in 2016, but it did not change the outcome of the election. In a race this close, it very much could. Oh just imagine this scenario. Biden gets exactly 270 after all the (re)counts and lawsuits. Come ...

Re: What do you think will happen "IN TEXAS"

When it does happen, I don't think it will be fast. It's going to be more of a guerilla war. Agreed. In a way, that's what is happening now. The "civil war" would just be small, civilian skirmishes coupled with disinformation in the media by politically polarized outlets. I imagine federa...

Re: Sean Connery - RIP

The Rock for me is a stupid movie I liked him in. The Hunt for Red October is another classic in a different sense. And let's not forget The Man Who Would Be King.

RIP

Re: What do you think will happen "IN TEXAS"

Honestly, I think we'll see some civil unrest in the denser (aka more far left) areas in Texas. But nothing much more than what we saw for the BLM/Antifa stuff. In the grand scheme of things, I think we'll be fine. In the event I'm wrong, I'm ready for any sort of poop to blow in my general directio...

Re: New gun. Am I being picky?

So... You paid good money for a lot of work, then got everything done perfectly except for them forgetting to co-witness your RDS with the irons, then they didn't tighten the screws on the RDS? That seems wrong. The only circumstance I can think of that being somewhat excusable is if you ordered pre...

Re: Justice Amy Coney Barrett

I have to admit. I am genuinely surprised the senate was able to pull it off before the election. In hindsight, I guess pushing forward with it back when ABG passed was the right thing to do.

Congratulations to the new associate justice.

Re: Early Voting

Denton county is slowing down. I guess we're starting to run out of voters. At this point, we're 45.7% of registered voters (259,080 people) have early voted at the polling locations. That doesn't include absentee ballots received or any other means of vote casting in the county. Carrollton Public ...

Re: DFW Way Out West Breakfast

Anyone going to make the breakfast in the morning? I plan on being there, my granddaughter's peewee cheer leading is over now. Unfortunately not this month for me. I'll be stuck doing my civic duty here in my county all day. I'll certainly be back next month, though. Hopefully Blackhorse1, Excalibe...
