Can they let him renew and it "get lost in the mail?"
If they check the mail before he does, they can hide it in a safe location.
Depending on advancement, it may never be an issue.

Re: GA: Man in angry clown mask robs Waffle House shoots customer
That may be their voiced policy, but I have never been in a Waffle House that had any kind of signage that told me I should find somewhere else to eat.

I've almost pulled the trigger on that 22 revolver more times than I can count.
Primary users would be my under 13 kids.
It just seems cheap. Like worth the extra 250 for sr22 et al.
What say y'all?

Re: Media called an AR-15 a semiautomatic rifle!
I read in a book that if you have to run from an alligator do it in short bursts of diagonal lines.
They accelerate quickly and can out run most humans in a straight line up to 50 yards.
However, they don't corner very well so the diagonal lines give you better odds.

Fair Park Cotton Bowl
Thinking about heading to Fair Park for the fireworks this year. Is the posting at the Cotton Bowl legit? 30.06 says a gate is posted, but it's owned by the city so wouldn't a non collegiate football game be good to go? No way I go to Fair Park after dark unarmed especially since we will probably tr...

Re: Illinois Car Carry
My info is 2 yrs old. I was not pulled over.
If you have a Texas LTC, you may have a gun in the car.
HOWEVER,
It is legal to possess the firearm in your car as long as it is unloaded and enclosed in a container. You can have a loaded magazine “WITH” the gun, but it must not be “IN” the gun.

Re: Clear backpacks
If they are not going thru metal detectors then this is not going to do anything. Instead of AR's next, it will be pocket pistols or something else. This is really a stupid idea. Metal detectors are just as big a charade. 7 years ago I worked at a school that had metal detectors and a clear back pa...

Failing a breathalyzer is not proof you haven't been drinking. It's proof you aren't legally drunk.

I would agree that the majority of teachers oppose armed teachers. It's not as wide a gap as we are led to believe but carrying is a minority opinion in ed world.
I sat on a committee for 8 colleges to help form the rules last year and I've worked for two major school districts.

I'm failing to see the harm in requiring people to report a stolen firearm.
We were robbed several years ago. Within hours we had a preliminary list of missing things. Within 3 days we had the entire list. We submitted it to the insurance company within a week.

Re: Carry at gun show
This thread brings back great memories of the last time I went to the mesquite gun show. He was only 7 at the time, but my son was giving the ticket seller a run for his money about the sign that said I couldn't carry. He asked me why and I said I don't know ask him. He did and then he debated the a...

No. Never.
One of the first things we did in my chl class was raise our right hand and say, "I am not a law enforcement officer."
Well, all of us but the three that actually were.
