Re: IWB deep carry in hospital scrubs?
I've actually used my alien gear v1 leather holster and my girl's Betty Holster with my Shield. I typically take a moment to get my drawstring as tight as I can, THEN slide the holster in. I've gone for extended walks like this w/o any problems. Of course, my shorts don't have pockets, so I had noth...

Re: Good Midsize Carry
Hmm, I carry this M&P .40 mid-sized every day, but it's spec are almost identical to the 9E. http://www.smith-wesson.com/webapp/wcs/stores/servlet/Product4_750001_750051_765389_-1_757955_757781_757781_ProductDisplayErrorView_Y My only complaint is the beaver/dove tail. I want to get that knocked...

Re: M&P magazine drop
Hmm, I'll double check, but of the 10+ mags I've got for my M&P .40, I don't recall any problems dropping.
Does yours kick off the slide lock when seating a magazine? My .40/.45 does that. I do not think my Shields do that.

Re: GUN TATTOO
Since ya'll rarely travel in those circles, tattooing is one of a few places I know that you can still barter goods/services for a tattoo. Maybe you can't walk into any ol' shop & barter, but if you know someone that does tattoo, they are typically willing to. My tattoos are probably worth $2000...

Judgmental much... I've got pierced ears and tattoos. Lots of them. And I OC all the time. I bet that drives some of y'all batty huh? ;-) I'm glad times have changed. Some of y'all just sound bitter. Lighten up. Let people live their lives and be happy. To quote some of these fellas . . . :iagree:

Re: GUN TATTOO
Back in the day, my Father used to always say "do you think you were the first ones to (fill in the blank)?" as I pierced my own ear, shaved my head, grew my hair long, or whatever.

Re: GUN TATTOO
The non-conformist in me makes me want to call ya'll some ol fuddy duddies as I adjust earrings in both of my ears with my tattoos on arms/legs/back. To me it's always funny how those of strong religious faith are quick to point out "only God can judge me", but are always quick to judge ot...

I am in a constant battle with my car. It want's to speed. Here is a video of me TRYING to keep it from going fast, standing on the brake, but I just can barely control it! https://youtu.be/s4m1nEqlIl8 How often do you have to replace your rear tires and brakes? Re: First LEO contact since getting my CHL
As I'm visiting this forum, I realize, this was NOT my first LEO encounter since I had my LTC. Dunno what I was thinking & maybe because I was off my game from the whole encounter & being sick at the time of typing it? I dunno.

Texas State Capitol, my first visit ever.
So, last week, I was in Austin with my SO as she was taking a State Board oral exam. After her successful completion of the test, we had time to kill, so we decided we'd go see the Capitol. After reading here, knowing about the "other" line for LTC folks, I wanted to see what the hubbub wa...

Denton Co Sheriff Deputy Mundo
I had a a lil booboo driving across the Lewisville Lake Toll Bridge.Heading west is ALWAYS a bad idea to be speeding as Lake Dallas is there at the end of the bridge waiting to line their coffers. Well, I was heading east & thinking nothing of it. I've seen some stops just off the east end of th...

Re: Pressed for an answer today
Wisdom from my Dad r.i.p. "It's ok to know something no one else knows" "Just because someone throws you a ball doesn't mean you have to catch it" And my favorite, " sure you can ask me a question, but no promise I will answer it" Over and over and over. Then I taught ...
