Re: CHL holder killed by police in Las Vegas at a Costco

Try Googling the movie... it won't come up.
They advised the studio that they will address the technical issues in the order that they receive them.

Re: Pennsylvania CHL Holder Arrested in New Jersey

Is there even the remotest possibility that this is, or could be made to be, a test case? A test case of what? NJ has already had some fairly high profile prosecutions of people who were otherwise law-abiding and just happened to do things wrong in NJ. Here's a good reference: http://www.freerepubl...

Re: Pennsylvania CHL Holder Arrested in New Jersey

Why in the world would anyone expect current laws/reciprocity to be taught in a Texas CHL class? 50 states with completely different laws that constantly evolve. No way. The class should simply say, "Look up the current laws regarding the state(s) that you plan on visiting prior to your trip&qu...

It should be modeled on the Politically Incorrect Language restraining order that is already in effect.

Re: Emory police chief facebook post.

I usually have issues with the politicians (both civilian and LEO) that compromise the leadership of various Law Enforcement departments, rather than the rank and file.
As a general rule, all of my encounters with rank and file LEO's have been positive.

Re: Sometimes cats are pretty awesome

I had a tuxedo cat like that back in the 80s. German Shepard came in the front yard while I was unloading groceries. My cat literally flew off the front porch and shredded the Shepard's nose. When I was young a German Shepard strolled into our backyard. The dog walked across the yard and saw our To...

Re: A CHLer stops a robbery in the daylight-Video

Great story and outcome for sure. For learning purposes and discussion, it begs the question, based on what we saw in the video: In your view was this a legitimate defensive draw / threat of deadly force, not from a moral perspective, but purely from a legal one? Did the GG in this case cross the l...

The Constitution has been amended 12 times in the 20th Century alone out of a grand total of 27.

It can happen.

Re: Public school advice on dealing with bullies

That is why you invariably draw a big-blank look from a liberal when you try to conduct any reasonable discussion of the subject of self-defense.

They simply don't get it.

I equate this with the liberal outlook on how they respond to Government bullying. They simply are not bothered by it.

It has literally been decades since I have read the Bible. My girlfriend and I are going to reread the parts pertaining to Noah.

Re: This country doesn’t have a chance.

I don't think that Video games, violent movies or a lack of Fathers are the primary reasons for societal decay. They are all contributing factors. My generation (born in the late 50's and 60's) grew-up in an era where society was rapidly changing. We watched the beginning of the Civil Rights era and...

Watching Noah on Easter Sunday

I still plan on watching it as it looks like it will be entertaining. If it sucks, I will tell you. If not, I will tell you. And I'm still waiting with bated breath for your review. :bigear: Easter Sunday and my girlfriend and I finally found the time to go watch Noah after having watched Transcend...
