The soft cruelty of lax law enforcement. (Memphis mob)

So a mob of youths attack motorists in Memphis TN. A grand total of three will face any consequence whatsoever. http://www.examiner.com/article/memphis-mob-frenzied-teens-attack-strangers-another-turbulent-mob-beatdown Two things. #1 These little criminals learned that night they could do anything t...

Re: SC Trooper shoots unarmed driver

Each situation is unique. I think the jury is still out (literally) on ferguson. On this.....do you want him to get his license or not. I was taught to comply immediately and without delay.....or should I wait and let him get angry because I am moving too slow. As a citizen I do not feel that an enc...

Re: Little neighborhood hoodlums...

These kids are really really dumb. It doesn't seem like their parents are much better off in the mathematical realm. Everything flows from the top down.....last year my son and his buddy (they were 7 and 8) jumped on his buddies bed and broke it. My husband was over there within the hour to fix it ...

Do it right, or not at all. If you choose to respect the military by saluting....do it properly and with honor. If you choose to honor them by not saluting because you are not a soldier then say so, and give a nod to them as you walk by. But doing it half way is just being a slob and a schmuck.

I understand where you are coming from, but I reject the either or nature of your logic. She needed a daddy that loved her. She deserved a father that changed her diaper then danced with her to Cinderella.

That her father beat her to death is horrific. It did not have to be that way.

It is the same reason you don't feed a coyote or a bear...,,,eventually they stop feeding themselves then they look to you to provide the food and if you don't you become the food.

If there was justice in this world he'd be beat to death by his own belt. Darn him.

He is not God not should he play at being so. If he wants to off himself at 75.....go ahead.

As far as the MD's doing a monthly plan. That is a great idea. Lots of incentives for everyone to stay at their best in that situation.

This is probably polly-Anna type thinking. Australia like the US was founded by the non conformists of England. We
Both have a history of being the misfits from England. Maybe just maybe that independent streak will rise again in our funny Aussie cousins.

They have suddenly found out they don't live in a rainbows butterflies and fluffy bunny world. Evil exists and you can't defeat it by saying pretty please with sugar on top. Really stinks to be them.

Re: Ebola outbreak in Africa

Good sanitation practices here too....flush toilets (for the most part), clean water, all the amenities. Should help limit disease. Research indicates this is the greatest cause of increased life expectancy in the US over the last 100 or so years. From the upper 40s to upper 70s. Precisely why any ...
