Re: Which Forty-Five
I am a 5 gun expert in IDPA so I have shot them all. I don't notice the trigger being any different from M&P to 1911. Only the trigger pounds are different and not very much at that!

For what it is worth, the M&P is a safe action not a double action.double-action M&P
Out of curiosity did your wife shoot the M&P? If she did, did she have the same low left issues?

Re: Advice in picking out right gun/pistol for my needs
If you like the gun and it feels good to you and you have shot one to be sure of the first two criteria - YOU HAVE FOUND YOUR GUN. You will get pros and cons for every gun out there. I suggest that you go with what you like. As with any machinery you run the chance of getting a lemon but I think tha...

Re: Advice in picking out right gun/pistol for my needs
My 2 cents worth: 1. Take a class for a good instructor. You want to know how to grip a gun in a good modern grip. You will need this info so you can correctly assess how a gun fits your hand. Fitting the hand means not only being able to reach and pull the trigger but being able to manipulate the c...

For what it is worth. I have several women in my classes that shoot Bersas. They haven't had any problems with them. The guns go bang and are pretty accurate. I would have not problem owning one or suggesting them to anyone.

Re: Bersa Thunder .380 vs CC version vs Plus version
Go out and handle several firearms. 9mm or better you will need to look for a single stack or 1911 style semi-auto.
