Looking forward to the episode! I still only use a hand press from Lee but the biggest slow down is my diligence/paranoia and OCD in wanting everything to be uniform - OAL, exact powder charges, crimp, etc.
But it's very rewarding, cost efficient and most importantly fun.

I hate to be this way, but based on that man's picture he is in ni position to be throwing out baseless and generalized insults.

Re: Geissele triggers
Agreed! That was the best mod I ever made to my 308 AR. Before that I had never changed any triggers but it made me a believer that a good trigger is the most cost effective mod you can make for accuracy

It looks like I have some more emails to write asking elected officials to support this bill.

A Leupold VX-2 is my favorite choice for quality glass, made in the US and good for medium to long distances. I've bought all of mine new for $190-$200 via eBay bids.

Re: Range Report - Kimber Micro 9 CSE
The recoil springs are notoriously light on these guns. They come with an 8 lb spring when the competitors at the same size ship with a 12 lb spring. I had the same issues when I got mine and the 12 lb spring cleared it up completely. Do a quick google search for "Kimber micro spring too light&...

Re: Levi's CEO: Please don't bring guns into our stores
I had no idea they stopped supporting the Boy Scouts. Welp, I haven't bought a pair of Levi's in a long time but if I needed any other reason not to support them then this is definitely it. I saw the article come up on my LinkedIn this morning.

Re: Recurve Bow for a Beginner?
Thanks for the advice! That's my fear with this - buying something I can really use. It seems a lot easier to do that in this hobby compared to my others.

Re: Recurve Bow for a Beginner?
Thanks for the feedback everyone. My better sense came back and I decided to spend the $130 on the Samick and if I like it go to the Bear Montana which is a 64 inch longbow for a more permanent bow. I know it's a longbow, not a recurve but damn if it isn't beautiful and finding a large enough recurv...

Re: Baby desert eagle
My only experience with the baby DE is a friends 40 s&w version. The first 500 rounds had a lot of jams and had to run really wet or else you would get tons of ftf's. He's had it for about 5 years now and as far as I know it's been problem free since then. Fun little pistol and very comfortable....

Re: Recurve Bow for a Beginner?
Thanks. Since you put that bug in me I think I'm going for the Bear actually. I'm looking at either the Grizzly or the Montana. I think I'll go look around this weekend and see if there is anywhere that might them and I'll see what feels better.

Re: Recurve Bow for a Beginner?
Another question - When I look at the charts online based on my arm length they say I should have a pull length of 28.8" and get a 68" bow but for I have not seen any come close to that length. In fact, the Sage is one of the biggest at 62" and the Bear Grizzly is only 58". So I'...

Re: Recurve Bow for a Beginner?
So I checked BF ads for Dick's, Academy, Cabelas and Bass Pro. They only had 2 that came close to my budget and requirements. Re: Recurve Bow for a Beginner?
That is definitely a nice looking bow but the sites I just checked it seems to be more like $250 more. I'm not sure I'm willing to commit that much yet (I know convincing my SO will also be much harder ). I appreciate the input though.
