Re: Texas to the rescue of our 2nd Amendment rights
Second is the question of whether SCOTUS can even refuse the case. This is a very unusual case where SCOTUS is the court of original jurisdiction. While acting as an appeals court, SCOTUS may decline to hear a case. But I am not sure they have that authority when acting as the original court. One o...

Re: In Memory of Pearl Harbor
My Dad's first cousin was there. He dove off his ship as it sank and swam to safety underneath the burning oil that was floating on the water on the terrible day.

Re: Wearing a mask while LTC
I normally take care of all my banking business at the drive through. But today I had to get inside my safe deposit box. My bank has a little sign with a gun and a red circle, but the lettering says, "Firearms may not be carried openly." So they are fine with CC. They also had a sign that ...

Re: ‘Sheriff, hurry up please.’ Disabled Florida man battles intruder as cops wait down the street.
It's hard to describe my feelings about this story. But it confirms what I have told my family and friends for a while now. Police action is almost always after the crime. Rarely do they intervene while a crime is actually happening. Your own safety is in your hands. You better be prepared. It's th...

Re: Breaking: China bought Dominion Software October 1
An investigation into SEC filings has revealed that the firm which owns Dominion Voting Systems received $400 million dollars from a Swiss bank with close links to the Chinese government less than a month before the election. https://wearethene.ws/notable/175414 No mention that I found of 'who' is ...

Re: Just found out my mother has covid
I personally know six people who had it and recovered. Two in their 60's were really sick for about two weeks, but are fine now. I also know one person who died from Covid. They were terribly over weight and had some other health issues.
Prayers for a speedy recovery for your mom.
