Re: HB910/SB17 standoff

Let the public choose.

Get hold of one of the news agencies and start a poll on which one is preferred by the public. Only have two choices, HB910 and SB17. Place their names on each.

Polls represent votes. Bet one of um will change their mind!

Re: Shoulder or Belt Holster

I mostly wear my paddles (ccw) without a belt, like with cargo shorts, warm-ups, jeans, etc. I take it is should be good to go as a belt holster from what's been said. I will continue to ccw, but like the freedom of OC, should my Columbia fishing shirt ride up on occassion.

THANKS EVERYONE!

Re: Shoulder or Belt Holster

My paddle holsters ride on the inside waistband of your pants. There is an indentation for the belt.

Re: First CHL in Austin - Instructor

No. Not her. This lady testified to Texas Legislature as a proponent to CCW. She held the very first class in Austin. Her range guy was an older gentleman who was a retired DPS officer. Shooting took place at range on 290 East. Just wondering, no big deal. Thanks.

First CHL in Austin - Instructor

Does anyone remember the name of the lady that taught the first class in Austin? A few of us that took that class were wondering if she still teaches, etc. thanks.

Re: What age to transition to a pistol?

My son started shooting my 22 Ruger MkII at about 6-7. At 13 he got his own 22/22mag single six.

Re: pocket pistols

Older thread, but will add my .02 For comfort and protection, as well as CCW, a pocket pistol is the way to go. Why carry a big heavy pistol that shoots a brick everyday, when you probably aren't going to use it anyway. I, too began the CCW world with a 1911 Commander. Love the 1911's and the 45 ACP...
