Sig Sauer 1911 XO Stainless 45acp

I'm in the market (gonna' git) a mid-range 1911. I'm leaning toward either a Taurus PT 1911 or the above Sig.

Anybody out there have any experience with the Sig 1911 XO? I have a Sig p-230 and it's just swell :tiphat: for what it does.

Thanks,

Re: CHL Delay - Excuses 0r Quotas?

Well, we mailed in electronic fingerprints taken by the Alabaster, AL PD today. That will be the THIRD (3rd) sets of prints for Mrs. Oldgringo. She's using the same fingers she's had for some 66 years and is running out of fingers. :tiphat: You reckon the fingerprint problem may lie with the fingerp...

Re: CHL Delay - Excuses 0r Quotas?

For $10, that's not a big problem and this would all be behind us if that apparent requirement was stated up front. Now comes the question: why were my fingerprints accepted when Big Mammou's were rejected? She has much prettier hands than I.

I hate dealing with government (you fill in the blank)!

Re: ok am i stupid or what?

Where does one go to find the name of the specific person/s in charge of CHL licenses? I have a State Senator, a State Representative and a couple of other folk who may want to say their howdies. Enough is enough.

Re: DPS Hours

We've received excuses why Mrs. Oldgringo's application has been held up after 1700 zulu. I can just about garauntee you there are no 'worker bees' in the office past 5:01 local time (1701 zulu).

Re: Potential problem with wifes application

My wife's application keeps being rejected, without specificity, for "fingerprint quaily". :rules:

See post this date above and good luck. Where is Governor "Pompadour" when you need him?

CHL Delay - Excuses 0r Quotas?

Today my wife received her 3rd reject of her fingerprints! :banghead: These are the same fingers she was born with as far as I know - they are what they are. Mrs. Oldgringo and I took the same course from the same guy on the same day, had the first set of prints taken by the same guy on the same day...

Re: Printing- What amount is acceptable?

New CHL permit question:

What do the references to various "o'clock" AND IWB initials, etc. mean :confused5 vis-a-vis concealed carry?

Thanks,
