Re: 3D pintable AR 30 round mags.
This is another good reason why a ban would fail. These printers will be able to produce any polymer gun part. Why not 50 round magazines?!

Re: UPDATE: 1/10/13
I believe in less gun restrictions overall, and that includes "licenses". Why do we need them to exercise a fundamental right? Has there ever been a push for constitutional carry? I'm new here so I don't know the history.

Re: UPDATE: 1/10/13
Thanks for the alert! I'm currently using my FL CCW until my TX CHL gets here. Time to contact my reps.Charles L. Cotton wrote:HB383 by Burnam: Prohibiting Texas residents from carrying on an out-of-state license

Re: Tone down the rhetoric
I think we should all focus on contacting congress, media, etc. to get our voices heard instead of fighting on here. And not just in Texas. Everywhere! A loss anywhere can have a negative impact for all of us gun owners.

Re: Traps set for out of State Gun Owners
What makes you say that? As I recall, the only exception is if the gun is unloaded, and in a separate locked container (not the glove box), separate from the ammunition. I think you're right. One would need a CHL from the same state as the school zone. I would hope that most officers would use disc...

Re: Traps set for out of State Gun Owners
I didn't know that. I'm in the same boat currently with just out of state CCW licenses. I'm working on the Texas CHL but just moved here so it'll take some time. If the gun is in your vehicle(center console, etc.) but not on your person then driving past a school should be okay. That means removing ...

Re: Cuomo Close To Announcing Sweeping New Gun Control Laws
I'm glad I don't live in NY but these attacks on the 2A are happening all over. The gun banners are trying for some quick victories. It's hard to believe that they haven't learned anything from D.C. and Chicago.

Re: NRA will participate in White House gun violence meeting
I hope the NRA remains firm. I really don't see the point in them meeting at all. I don't want any concessions made. I've started faxing all members of congress with my thoughts. The Feinstein bill is a decoy that will not pass. The Left is hoping to get something more moderate through that will see...
