Re: House of Worship/Church Safety Meeting Problems
Our church is posted 30.07, and that doesn't particularly annoy me. We do have dedicated security, but they are not identified in any way; I just know what to look for. I carry every Sunday, just like I do every other day. I would not attend or be a member of a church that posted 30.06 signs. Even ...

Re: House of Worship/Church Safety Meeting Problems
I Love My Church and You would too because safety & awareness is an important part of what we do on Sundays & special events (conferences etc). We have volunteers, some armed, some not. We have attorneys, doctors, welders, all sorts of folks on the safety team. We carry walkies w/ ear pieces...

Re: When is a school a school?
Concerning protection from Mass shootings etc ... I've often wondered about a situation where a school allows use of its cafeteria/auditorium for non-school events, such as churches getting together to provide Thanksgiving lunch to poor, lonely, afflicted souls. Wonder if (1) church volunteers/atte...

As a prude myself, I take offense at serving of alcohol at a Christian event, shorts & sandals at church, Christian heavy metal, and Kanye/Olsteen tag team preaching.

Some states require immediate notification of an officer that you are armed, even before they ask. I took a trip up to MI and traveled through all the states you mentioned plus IN.

I don’t think that such action is limited to MI. Can occur in Texas and even by the HOA.
