Re: Body Gaurd Carry anywhere?
Can I be my wife's or daughter's PPO? The pay isn't great, but the benefits are unbelievable. You know I spent several hours last night researching just such a deal. It would seem the hoops required would difficult. You have to have a contract on file for your "employer" the emp...

Re: Flight delay = criminal prosecution
The smart thing to do in such a situation is clearly not ask the airport police to hold your luggage! Keep your mouth shut, rent a car, and drive to the nearest free state to grab the next airplane. Expensive, but not as expensive as dealing with legal thuggery. I used to fly a LOT, delays are goin...

Re: Not carrying, no need to show CHL
I'm all for RKBA, etc., but what's the big deal in showing your CHL? Whhats the debate? What's the harm in showing it if you are not carrying? Am I missing something?:confused5 I guess for the same reason I politely say no sir when asked if they can search my vehicle,, most often responded with “ S...

When I first got my CHL in Oregon many years ago.. I was questioned (interrogated more like it) by two female co workers, who felt profoundly that a privet citizen carrying a handgun concealed was unneeded as that was the job of the police. The discusshion went from rights of gun owners to state law...

Re: Westboro Baptist Church
There are few situations in life that cannot be solved with the use of overwhelming firepower and copious qualities of explosives. In the case of WBC, that is precisely what they want in a reaction from the opposing side. It makes good press. While the situation could be controlled with just one SKT...

Re: Denton Police: Vintage Golf Supplier Murdered
Having been married only once, and living my dream for 19 years and counting now, I'm perhaps naive and sheltered.. BUT.. I do not understand the concept of one spouse laying down the gauntlet of law and forbidding the other from an action. Martial counseling aside.... educate, bring in friend...

IANAL.. but for me,,, if it was the owner, I'd say it sticks until rescinded.
If it was an employee.....I'd not be concerned once that employee was no longer present.

The method of instruction is poor at best, But all but one of you missed the valid the intent of his instruction. In close quarters battle, you can control an enemy’s weapon with your bear hand to great effect.. Without receiving any injury due to the firing of the weapon so long as you can deflect ...

If you ride ATGATT , then the solution I have found is a balsitic nylon holsted cut duwn and reformed to fit in my jacket inside pocket. I can nwo CC in a like manor as you would with a ahoulder holster. 1 ZIP to "Clear" my garment and my hand slips in to a nice stable position on the grip...

When S&W introduced the Sigma, the SW380 .380acp was estimated to have a useful life of about 2000 rounds. Needless to say, I passed. :smilelol5: Well I'd say that the advertising was wrong and misleading.. I've had my used unknow round count Sigma .40 S&WVE for about 9 weeks now, and I've ...

Re: You ever been asked to leave or leave gun
Yes, my point exactly. One can comply with the law of keeping the weapon concealed (the laws definition of concealed and the defense to prosecution allowed) and not keep it a secret, as in your example of having an open discussion at an appropriate place and time.

Re: Bexar County Tax Office (Vista Verde Plaza)
I think the law should make it mandatory for places and businesses that bar handguns to provide secure storage for license holders. Maybe the law should make metal detectors and security guard mandatory too but that might be way too much to ask. Yes but... not a private biz that posts a 30.06,, Jus...

Re: You ever been asked to leave or leave gun
If your talking CHL carry is supposed to be secret and nobody should know you have a handgun so how can they even ask. (?) I ask that question every time a thread like this pops up. I never seem to get a good answer. I suspect there are some who talk quite a bit to their friends and relatives about...
