Right. They wouldn't bother to take those bus rides to demonstrate if they knew there would be no media coverage.

Re: California Secession? Don't let the door hit you on the way out!

Kidding aside, it's a dirty rotten shame what's happened to Calif, with such a variety of beautiful areas to look at and visit. I mean the coastline and the mountains. The state has bred and attracted so many misled people. It's astonishing the measures they vote for. I feel for the normal citizens....

VERY NICE VIDEO! I learned in oceanography that there are mini ice ages every 500 years or so caused by deap artic water. Can't really explain it here but it is the natural cycle of the earth... Speaking of ice ages: plot.jpg • This planet has always been moving toward or away from an ice age. Is i...

Re: Are Grill Covers Really Needed?

For a great grill cover look no further than these . Find your size and order away. These are great, especially for the price. Build quality is better than all the ones at Home Depot/Lowes. Thanks for the tip. It is better. No overlay material to peel off over time. It looks great and has 3 differe...

Re: How would an 06/07 violation actually happen?

" If the act were intentional then I don't have much sympathy for what might happen." I don't advocate ignoring an 06 sign, either. However, if a guy takes the risk of being cited and pays the fine, knowing that the flip side is possibly saving the lives of his wife or kids, well, he's not...

Re: Scared My Wife

Several years ago, as my wife and I were getting in the car for a highway trip, she asked: "You haven't forgot your gun, have you?" That's when I new her conversion from "being afraid having the thing around" to "I feel safer with it around" was complete. She would shoo...

Re: Carry while Backpacking

recently camped for a week by Ouray, Co. Was told to bring a bear gun as they are frequent visitors. I bought a Glock 21 with full power loads. Not too heavy and had enough firepower. Did encounter several bears but all were around 6' tall when they stood up and a can of dog halt proved enough to s...

Re: Generator Only Runs at Half Choke

I know it sounds strange after all of the testimonials, but I had trouble starting the generator only when I had run it dry. Almost had to have it hauled off to the lawnmower shop for servicing, it was so screwed up. Consequently, I never let it run dry anymore and have no problems starting it, even...

Re: Best route through Houston.

Never, never try to use the Kemah bridge after 2 PM, unless you just like to sit in traffic forever. Also, the comments about the crush of trying to board thousands of people on a ship sounds not like something I would even get paid to do. And disembarking to go sightseeing. No thanks.
