Re: My son got married today

Congrats to your son, TAM!!

My wife's parents were the go-to people in our wedding, they put in countless hours to prep everything. It was a huge help, and I'm sure that your son & his bride appreciated it.

Re: Feinstein: NRA intimidation weakens weapons reform

LoL. Does she not see the irony in her statements?

-If a Senator signs off on a bill that intrudes on our 2nd Amendment, the NRA will push to unseat them.

... so if a Senator does something that is essentially unconstitutional, they are at risk for losing their seat. Sounds fair. :tiphat:

Bugout-- APR 12-14th/Caldwell

Fenster and I are members of another forum-- Zombie Squad. The Central TX Chapter is planning on doing a multi-chapter bugout at a members ranch in Caldwell, Tx. Might be worth registering and checking out if any of you are into that kind of stuff: http://zombiehunters.org/forum/viewtopic.php?f=118&...

Re: Mid-Length Gas System?

I ended up getting a mid-length. And yes... it does run awesome! I've been running garbage ammo through it too--Wolf & Tula-- and it still runs like a champ. Absolutely no teething issues, no FTF, FTE, or anything else. And it's smooth. I will agree that it's a bit heavy, but I have had no issue...

Re: Truck shopping help!

Tundra's are AWESOME. They really put a lot of thought into them, that's for sure. The rear gears & axle are superb and strong. Very strong. Front brakes and rear brakes are huge with 4 piston, makes stopping easier. Rear shocks are staggered for stability, a very cool feature. The hitch isn't s...

How has this NOT sold yet? Aside from me not having $580, I have no idea.

Re: Mark Kelly's dog attacks and kills baby sea lion in Cali

I guess my only question is if Obama will comment on the death of this seal? After all, he hasn't commented on the death of any other SEAL recently.

For anyone who hasn't gotten it yet, I'm referring to Chris Kyle.

Re: Picked up a New Vehicle..

Thanks everyone! Yeah, I'm a Toyota fan boy. I'm as patriotic as the next guy, but I'm not going to buy any more garbage American vehicles for the sake of buying American made products. If I'm going to spend $36K on a vehicle, I want to get every dime of it. I won't go so far as to say that all Amer...

Re: Picked up a New Vehicle..

Yeah, I've been a Toyota fan for a long, long time. I traded in a 06 Sequoia a few years ago for better fuel economy. That Sequoia was a champ.. yes, 16 mpg sucked... but I put close to 200K miles on it with ZERO problems. Wife has a 03 Corrola. Close to 200K, zero problems. I got nostalgic and want...

Picked up a New Vehicle..

Out with the old, in with the new. I spend most of my work days out on caliche and dirt roads, and the car just wasn't cutting it. I tore off the front air dam the other day... The wife and I have been thinking about getting something else anyhow. This is what we ended up with: 2012 Toyota 4Runner I...

TAM-- The reticle is etched, so there is always a black reticle when the ilum is off. El Chupo-- I thought about the squid grips, but I specifically purchased this rifle to run the angled grip. By not using squid grips, i will be more likely to run the angled grip in a 3-gun technique rather than go...

Re: New Evil Black Troy Carbine

Troy makes good products. My AR10, which you have seen, has a Troy Battle Rail on it. And Troy's BUIS are pretty decent. Yeah, the AR10 you have is fantastic! These BUIS are built into the rail, which I'm not particularly fond of-- I would have rather have them off at a 45 degree angle. In any case...
