Re: Texas Gun Rights dot org
Can someone educate me on what exactly McNutt has done that is "crazy"? I heard that he introduced CC, and that he personally walked to houses in the Speaker's district to try and gin up support / pressure on the Speaker. Was this action unorthodox and confrontational, yes. Was it "c...

Re: Bonnen Walks out on GOP Dinner... had words with McNutt
I've been reading various news outlets on this entire issue. There have been some pretty big fibs. Either way, Dennis Bonnen is not fit to in the legislature, let alone Speaker.

Do Any Bills Have a Chance This Session
I'm currently offshore with limited internet access, but with Bonnen and Poncho in bed together, do any pro 2A bills have any real chance of getting out of committee and onto the floor for a vote? I know it's coming down to the wire now.

Re: Shooting Qualification While Pregnant
I have qualified 3 pregnant women. Everything that I read indicated that the shockwave from normal firearms was not safe for ears inside the body. However, I let them use my suppressed glock with subsonic rounds. Sounds like a nailgun. What part of Texas are you in? I would happily do the shooting q...

Re: 06 / 07 on same sign?
No matter what you decide to do in your personal carry situations, hospitals are class A misdemeanors if you carry past a valid 06/07 sign. I'm torn on the enforceability part of this type of sign, and would think different DAs would have different feelings on prosecuting or not, if you were found t...

Email for Texas Parks and Wildlife
Anyone have any idea who I should contact for the following issue? I tried to find a generic email for TPWD and could not find one on their site. I was open carrying in Brazos Bend State Park and I went to the ranger station to pay for camping, and the ranger told me it was park policy that they onl...

Re: Sig 365 question
You guys realize that Keltec made a gun that is basically the same size with the same size capacity as the P365 almost 20 years ago in the Kel-tec P11, right? We can argue that the Sig is the better made gun, but they were not the first to market a pistol of this size with a 10 round magazine. I ha...

Re: Sig 365 question
I am Glock guy but am also an engineer. Sig was the first company who actually designed a near single stack pistol based off the geometry of the cartridge, instead of just scaling down one of their full size handguns, in order to maximize capacity - and a 10 round capacity, the same as my chubby G26...

I offered free LTC classes for Huffman ISD, which allows (some) armed teachers. I sent an email to the superintendents office. They said they would get back to me. Nothing 3 months later...

Re: Carrying in a “daycare” private school?
I'm not at all certain that your daycare center is a "school" for purposes of TPC §46.03. However, to be safe, get written permission to carry (it must be in writing) in the facility when kids are present. Again, daycare centers are not off-limits, but school buildings are prohibited area...
