I think he was asking about the TEXAS House and Senate: https://apps.texastribune.org/features/2022/texas-20...

Re: Man is arrested for walking his dog near a Texas school

There have been many attempts made over the years to clarify this such that it only applied to the actual property OWNED by the school while the school-sponsored event was ongoing, however none of these bills have passed and we are stuck with the legal language we have now: Sec. 46.03. PLACES WEAPON...

Re: Credit Card Processors to use newly created Gun Store Transaction Code

From the article: Visa said it would adopt the International Organization for Standardization’s new merchant code for gun sales, which was announced on Friday. Until Friday, gun store sales were considered “general merchandise.” Seems like it applies per transaction not per retailer. So, if you go ...

California Drops ‘Good Cause’ Requirement for Concealed Carry Following SCOTUS 2A Ruling Although Bruen concerns a New York law, the Bruen majority specifically identifies California as one of six States that has an analogue to New York’s “proper cause” standard. … Accordingly, it is the Attorney G...

Re: Need a little clarification on new law

Regarding #2, I always thought that a LEO needed probable cause that a crime was being committed in order to stop anyone (general statement not limited to just carrying a gun). And I further thought that just having a handgun was not probable cause (by itself), any more than seeing someone driving ...

Well, we finally received a ruling today. Was disappointed the court did not go along with the larger requested AG fines as a deterrent to other cities refusing to follow the law: https://search.txcourts.gov/Docket.aspx?coa=coa03&FullDate=07/22/2021 LTC holders now have case law supporting the ...

Yes I will renew. I am sure there are more, but these pop up in my minds pretty quick. No NICS Checks buying guns. Reciprocity with other States. Driving through School Zones lawfully with my LTC.
