Re: Mitch Rosen and Ruger

I have a Blackhawk Serpa that I got from Academy for my SR9c. I only use it at the range and some times at home. I primarily carry IWB.

Re: Block Robo Calls

I have had less than 1 call per week since signing up. Before it was 2-3/day! Now all I get is one-ring calls 2-3 times/day and *poof*. I smile each time.

Re: IDPA New Division CCP

I only shoot my edc which is a Ruger SR9c. I always knew I started at a disadvantage because of that but, who cares? I am one of the ones that use it to hone skills. I always place near the bottom but when I sort based on points down, I'm doing pretty good! :fire :tiphat: I like the new catagory.

The way I see it, you have nothing to lose. It's easy to discontinue using the service if you find later on it's not working, intrusive or any other host of potential maladies.

Thanks bro. :tiphat: I just set this up on my home phone. Easy peasy. Now let's see how well it works. When I switched to AT&T u-verse, robo call volume exploded! :banghead:

Re: Man assaulted during Wally Walk

What I can't understand is what would make any sane person think it was a good idea to tackle a guy you KNOW is carrying a gun, especially if you don't know their intention! Did it not cross his mind that this guy might be a LEO? If he did mean harm, how do you know he doesn't have a partner? Most ...

Lethal Lace: Another Promising Option for Ladies

Found this today. Looks like a promising, affordable option for ladies to easily carry on body, regardless of dress. Thoughts? Seems easy to make yourself if you sew. Company website: http://lethallace.com" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false; [youtube]http://youtube.com/watch?v=g...

Re: Self Defense Practice at an Indoor Range

Might I suggest getting involved in local IDPA matches. Texas Tactical has a monthly match at Austin Rifle Club and the cost is only $25/match plus you'll need 100 rounds of practice ammo. All safe shooters are welcome. No experience necessary. This is the cheapest, easiest way to practice self defe...

It seems to me that people need to quit writing letters and asking so many envelope pushing questions to the NFA before they completely reverse themselves.

Re: Build for friend legallity

Youtube is freaking AWESOME! They should offer degrees or diplomas on Youtube because I have learned how to do so many things by watching Youtube video's. It's like having a mentor at your beckon call for all things handyman. It can be awesome, but it isn't a repository of guaranteed best practices...

Re: Build for friend legallity

Teach a man to fish... Yep. Teach a man to fish... Yeah, what if I am not interested in buying barrel tools and extra set of wrenches? If I need to compliment my M400 (basic AR-15 Carbine), I would just purchase a 20" Varmint or Match grade upper and top it with a nice day/NV optics. No proble...
