Re: FBI Says: "I See You!"

How at risk are pre-paid cell phones? Do these el cheapo units come with GPS? I doubt it. Mine cost a whopping $20.00. If your paranoia gets to be an over the top anxiety producer consider a prepaid el cheapo cell phone that comes with no bells or whistles, or horror of horrors - get rid of the tra...

Re: US vs Miller, JPFO Site - Review and Comment?

We need a couple more good judges and send another challenge to the NFA back to the Supreme Court. By the US vs Miller logic, I cannot think of 1 type of firearm that hasn't been used by the military (US or foreign). Thanks to 21st Century warfare, SBR (more like short barreled machineguns) are comm...

Re: How low will they stoop?

More people die falling out of bed each year than are killed by all rifles (yes, cause the rifle is the cause). That includes bolt action and the evil assault rifles that are fully automatic you can buy at a gun show with no background check. Sounds like I need to start sleeping on the floor.

Re: Does your bank....

My bank has the DIY machine you put your change in and take the receipt to the teller. If you have an account, you can get cash free of charge. I will not fill up my old glass 5 gallon milk jug anymore cause it's just too heavy to lift. The other day a woman came in while I was in line with several ...

Re: Carbine optics

I fondled just about every scope on that fits the list at Cabela's and Gander Mountain. Let's see, there was the Leupold VX-R Patrol, Vortex Viper PST, Vortex Strike Eagle, Bushnell Throw Down PCL, Burris Tac 30, and Nikon M223. Of all of them, I like the Fire Dot SPR reticle on the Leuopold the bes...

Re: Block Letter Definition

I sometimes wonder if some folks have nothing more to do than challenge. Well, the Dallas Zoo posted because they meet the definition of "amusement park". That being the case, the Webster (foremost authority on the English language) definition of "block letters" should also hold...

Block Letter Definition

I'm not a lawyer. Can't pretend to be one or come close to thinking like one. What is the definition of block letters? To me it is all letters the same size. Recently my workplace has posted the signs that says we are sitting ducks. The capital letters are over an inch cause I measured them with a p...

Carbine optics

Not to derail TAM's thread any further, I would like to hear some thoughts on a 1ish variable power scope vs a red dot with a flip off magnifier on a carbine. Specifically a 14.5" barreled 5.56. I would like to keep the price less than $600 and prefer an illuminated reticle. The rifle is used f...

That's a good outcome.

It's obvious what Ms. Swinney, the author of the article thinks about the signs. They are not "illegal." They are illegal.

Re: Finished/Tested: New 10.5" SBR

TAM that looks good and I don't think you will be disappointed with the Law Tactical folding stock adapter. You're going to almost make me want to pay the government to build a SBR that and to carry it past.... that's a different conversation. From research, no first hand experience, you won't real...

Re: Short, Light Weight Bolt Rifle in 308

I would look at the Ruger American or Savage Axis/Axis 2 lines. Low cost accuracy and reliability. I have the Ruger American in .308 I can squeeze about 1 moa on a good day. it's 6 lbs naked. my only gripe is the stock is a little flimsy and flexes enough to lose the free float. on newer models thi...

I heard that he is not called Captain America either, just Cap or something like that. Can't say American in a positive way.
