Re: No. You tell him.

I am not exactly pro-Russian, as during the majority of my military career they were the bogeyman and rightly so. But with that said, put him in contrast with our political leaders; you see Putin on horseback, on a large motorcycle, Putin with a firearm, Putin hunting, Putin drinking Vodka, and etc....

Re: SB 321 employer requesting license?

Just a comment in regards to the theme that runs in many of these same threads. I do not WANT to and most of us do not WANT to become the TEST case but at some point "WE" Collectively will have to stand up. It may mean ONE of us, and then a few of us, and then all of us will have to stand...

Re: Despite appearances, world is safer?

I guess it depends on "who's" perspective. I just got through watching Kimjongilia, about North Korea. In the documentary it showed North Koreans singing, during the worst of the famine, how although they don't eat too often at least they aren't as bad off as the South Koreans and other Ca...

Re: ABC news controlled "study" - Wow!

Yes the 3 lost but they did have a chance to defend themselves as compared to the others in the room that had no chance. I would much rather have a chance to win then no chance at all. I think thats why we all carry to just have some kind of chance to win. Practice=Practice=Practice I think this re...

Re: The "Utah Problem" is back in uglier clothing

Keith is right. Out-of-state licenses and licensees are not a problem and we have many years of experience to back that up. The problem began and will come to a conclusion because of irresponsible advertising by a small number of instructors. Even after Utah changed its laws in response to outcry f...

Re: AAFES aka Base or Post Exchange gun sales

AAFES is a DOD agency. Doesn't surprise me at all... It's is, and yet still acts like a gready retailer... It is a stand alone, self funded adventure designed to systematically rip off US service men and women.. .. (yes there is truth and personal bias intermixed in that response) Overpriced, no si...

Re: Mob kicks in homeowners door, assaults him.

Once again, that incident happened in the City of (Not So) Brotherly Love, Philadelphia. Where I'M LIVING, here in the State of Texas, would have been a completely different story. Nice of you to put yourselves in that man's shoes, but none of you have the proper amount of cash to get me to actuall...

Re: Mob kicks in homeowners door, assaults him.

Of course my initial thought was "anyone breaking through my bolted door and threatening me with a pipe is going to catch some lead." But after a few minutes thinking about the situation..... 1. He had no idea what the kids in his house may have done to instigate the problem. 2. If he inj...

Re: Another no knock blunder, this time cop dies!!!

I tell you, this is my greatest fear during a home invasion. Police bust in and I shoot one, now what. I worked for a short period at the Jail and I have absolutely no interest in going to one. So, go for the gusto or what? I do know that I have never heard of someone getting no-billed for shooting ...

Re: Border Patrol Check Point Outside El Paso

In reply to the original post (OP): Addressing first the authority of Border Patrol to conduct checkpoint operations, as long as you are within 100 -air miles- of the border, it's kosher. Road miles do NOT count, as I can attest from personal experience that illegals will often walk sometimes great...

This is just one of the few videos that I have seen that enabled me to watch someone enter, display weapons, and then make...

Re: National Right-to-Carry Reciprocity Act of 2011

Should standards be inserted into the bill I believe they should be minimum standards. Should be, yes. Will be? No. Once again history scares me on this one. The firearms owner protection act should have been a great thing for gun owners. Instead, we got the Hughes amendment. Were winning in the co...

Re: ACOE land and federal HR 1865

Don't expect anything from John Carter. Here is what he wrote back to me last year, I also posted it here on Sept 27, 2010, concerning Chet Edwards: From John Carter: Thank you for taking the time to contact me with your concerns regarding the Army Corps of Engineers land firearm policy. Your input ...
