Re: Just My Thoughts

I don't think this is a 1st Amendment issue. It is however fraud and breach of contract issue. If I were to sue them that is the approach I would take.

Brave man but he should have shot the shooter when he first had the chance rather than motioning him to put his gun down. That just about got him shot.

Re: New online CHL application & procedures

Thanks.

We have been able to get on the site but when we try to go to the application, we can't get to the application. Guess he will have to just keep trying. Thanks again.

Re: New online CHL application & procedures

My son is applying for a LTC and has a couple of questions. We can't get into the DPS site to fill out an application. Is the site down? Second, he is going to college in Arkansas but his residency is still at home in Texas. Which address should he use for his mailing address - his home address or h...

Re: Paul Manafort Trial

You do know that all of us would be found guilty of something if a prosecutor like Mueller took a fine toothed investigatory comb to our lives, probably things that we didn't even know were illegal. I have always thought that Manafort was a sleasebag, but he was only investigated because of his rela...

Re: Paul Manafort Trial

The charges against Mana fort were extensively investigated by the Virginia US AG. He decided not to prosecute. Now Mueller decides to prosecute the same charges using the same evidence. This is all about getting Trump, not justice.

Re: Las Vegas Mandalay Bay Active Shooter

This guy is an idiot. The so called, not real, "gun show loophole" didn't have anything to do with the Las Vegas shooting. He didn't buy his weapons at gun shows. He did apparently buy most of the weapons after Trump's election and he target a country music show. Do those say anything abou...

Re: Teens died about 87 and 337 feet from man who said he fired in self-defense

Its hard to make a self defense case at these distances in any state. These guys were up to no good but that didn't give license to the defendant to shoot them. Tragic for the defendant.

Re: UT: pawn shop clerk kills robber. Video

But did you notice the way he bladed himself to the robber and slipped into the back room giving himself time to pull his gun. I didn't see him working the slide, but couldn't say he didn't. In any case, he used good tactics to hide the drawing of his weapon.

Re: What Is The No. 1 Reason For Such Hatred?

Don't forget the Bush Derangement Syndrome. He may not have been hated as much as Trump, but he certainly got his fair share of hatred. I am convinced that any Republican who beat Hilary would have been hated. Trump may be hated a bit more in part because he reacts to it. In the end, this hatred is ...

Re: Mag capacity + 1 or just what it holds

ARs and some older handguns used to have jamming issues if the mags were loaded to full capacity. That is the reason for downloading by a round or 2. Having said that I have not heard of a gun jamming because of a fully loaded mag in probably 20 years.

4-5 of those "rifles" looked like pellet guns to me. You could put out someone's eye with those.
