Re: Vacation Timing????

I am not a fan of Obama, but doesn't the kind of things depicted in the pics apply to any President that decides to make a visit anywhere that the general population frequents? It is not Elitism, it happens with any President. :iagree: However, the Obamas do seem to take more vacations than any of ...

These crimes seem rampant.

And, for those who were there, the VA now considers Diabetes Mellitus (Type 2 diabetes) to be service connected if you were in-country. A lot of not-so-fat not-so-old guys developed the disease a lot earlier than statistics show they should... http://www.publichealth.va.gov/exposures/agentorange/con...

Re: Advise on CHL class

If you're convenient to north Fort Worth, IH-35 and Golden Triangle, look up Shoot Smart. Their initial CHL is $100, not sure about the renewal. Refrigerated air in the classroom (you'll be glad of that on the day it's 114F outside!) and you shoot before the general public gets in, so the range is c...

Re: Free parking at the FW Gun Show?

Well, some of y'all might not care to go, but I'm glad I hauled my butt up there, even though I was feeling poorly. Managed to pick up a weapon that I'd been planning to get from Buds, for $50 less than their price, even with the tax. And, there's a $50 rebate going, as well. And to top it off, got ...

Mine came in the mail, today - 12 business days, or 18 calendar days from receipt at the DPS Mail room. It sure seemed like it took forever, though.

Re: Wrong-way highway crash (demostration)

After 25 years as a paramedic, and having worked several high-speed head-on's, I can only say that when they hit solidly head-on, it's even worse. That is the one thing that scares the beejeebers out of me when driving on a freeway at night. And the bad thing is that the drunk coming at you is fixat...

OK -- I can't help with your actual question, but wanted to let you know that I thought the title was "A Space Flight Tomorrow - quick question". I figured you were asking about taking a firearm on a flight into space! Actually, I'm a bit disapointed! :evil2: Obviously, sf.. that shows yo...

Re: Don't Arrive Late For FAST

This is like a scavenger hunt... Got it! But, you raise another question - so far, I've seen nothing indicating I need a notary for. Is that something to do with the CHL-100? Wayne If you apply online, you don't need a notary for anything. True, but, if you ever need a notary for anything else, the...
