How do you carry that? What kind of sheath, holster, clip do you use. Just curious about those who carry fixed blades. Never worked a job where that would be socially acceptable.

Re: Interesting statistic for number of police officers per capita
I feel like Vatican City population is not necessarily representative of the number of people in the Vatican City. I would be interested to see how including the average daily volume of non-residents (including tourists and such) changed the number.

I am with pushpullpete, send any of that .40 gear you don't want my way. Carry .40 M&P almost everyday. When I have to get REAL dressy I pocket carry a SIG P238.

12/hr? Accourding to the Bureau of Labor Stats the average American manufacturing worker costs a company over 33/hr. This includes all benefits and taxes along with wages but 12/hr is wildly low. Good for you for changing the subject. As they say "Never argue with stupid people. They will bring...

That hilarious to me. Because I tell my wife she should leave a sweater in the car all the time (she gets cold everywhere) and she refuses. Even brings in ones I put into the car. At least I try to help her.

One thing, you can't only measure pass fail rates. While I agree the excuse you can't make them learn ... has weight I know a few teachers that are good teachers but if you only look at passfail they look bad. Half of their students do show up. They can't make them show up and if they don't attend t...

I don't know about yalls experience but was not express when I went through it. (Though there was not a huge line) I got through at the same pace as the group I walked up with. Maybe the folks running the line when I got there were really efficient. Just sharing that express was not my view of it.

I am in the Houston area and my father is in East Texas. Want to see whats out there. We both have CHLs if that is a factor in anyones re...

AlphaWhiskey, I have to disagree somewhat. I work in HR and I have posted jobs over and over. We get an average of 50 resumes for the jobs we post. We could set it up to get 2000 resumes but we have a simple system that make people actually fill out an application (takes 2 mins I have done it myself...

Re: Ethanol in your Gas: Lousy Gas Mileage?
I don't disagree the stuff is bad for older engines. I will say though by necessity most new vehicles are designed to run on the stuff so as far as new cars go I am sure there's no extreem worries requireed. I am sure there's no solice in that for the classic car guys.

Re: "Carry or Not Carry That is the Question"
My wife asked the same of me, most of her fam does not know we carry so the hugging thing was her big point. (Going low on hugs doesn't work when you are over a certain hight just makes it awkward and you look stupid) I knew most of the folks on my side of the isle had it covered (along with both th...

I totally agree that he should not have done it. It was not smart by any measure. We will see how it goes, I just have mixed opinions of the whole thing. As far as the obligation and right of disobeying an illegal order being above his pay grade. I am of the opinion that pay grade has nothing to do ...

Ok. I guess I can understand that. Don't really feel its right but my opinion doesn't matter much in this case and I understand that. Why do you feel you have to give up your rights to defend ours? Is there a purpose or is it just cause? If I am out of line let me know trying to understand why being...
