Re: South Africa: Violent farm murders

http://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article ... theft.html

So the first farm the government is planning to appropriate is not a farm, but a game reserve that was bought 21 years ago when Nelson Mandela was President. So one would assume, anyone could have purchased the land, including the government.

This does not at all look like farmland. It was unoccupied when it was purchased. It was later discovered to have a vast coal deposit under it.

So this looks like government theft, socialism, communism, nationalization whatever you want to call it.

The land seizure process begins.

For all the "Democratic Socialists" out there, I hope they are watching!! This is going to become very ugly, and a lot of people are going to die.
And after the "redistribution" there will be very few countries willing to trade with the new "owners" so they are going to sink into poverty, and become another Venezuela. One of SA main, businesses, is big game hunting, but that will dwindle to nothing, also. It's sad, but they are sending themselves into oblivion. JMHO
Not only will they be poor, they will be hungry. Do you think those that are taking the land know how to farm?
The government offered 1/10 of what the farmer asked.
1.6 million US for 25,000 acres.

I read somewhere that in Rodesia, that after giving the farms away to Mugabi supporters, they didn’t farm the land. Had no interest in that, only wanted to own it. Now Zimbabwe can’t feed itself.

I met a number of MD's who immigrated to New Zealand from South Africa because of the violence.

My wife and I were there to visit an MD buddy and his family who'd migrated to New Zealand from Clear Lake, Texas.

We met the S.A. docs at an almost all MD party and most all from S.A.

They didn't want to leave S.A., but they couldn't remain due to the violence.

Sometimes, you have to move if living conditions are untenable.

My wife and I did 12 years ago, due to the Katrina refugees and their crime. We couldn't stay and put up with it.

Best move we ever made - now living in a most rural part of Texas.

Love it!
Welcome to Texas.

People vote with their feet. If the US becomes unliveable some day because of liberals, so much so that the liberals want to leave. They will find that the open arms they want for the US, does not apply to the rest of the world.

At some point, the people who voluntarily gave up power, after being the world's pariahs for 30 years, may decide to take back power.

It will not be pretty.

Re: South Africa: Violent farm murders

I guess the killing of white farmers one by one was not fast enough.

South African parliament votes to remove white South African farmers from their land without compensation.

The motion was brought by radical Marxist opposition leader Julius Malema.

"Mr Malema has a long-standing commitment to land confiscation without compensation. In 2016 he told his supporters he was 'not calling for the slaughter of white people - at least for now'."

"Rural affairs minister for the ruling African National Congress party said 'The ANC unequivocally supports the principle of land expropriation without compensation'."

"The deputy chief executive of civil rights group Afriforum said the motion was a violation of agreements made at the end of apartheid. "

I suspect there are some elderly people in South Africa who are saying "I told you so".

It would seem that only removing white farmers from their land without removing black farmers from their land would be racist.

Can anyone spell Zimbabwe?
