Thanks. I'm just the messenger. A core group of volunteers has tackled the reconstruction like it was their full-time job. Yesterday I found out enough new benches had been built to get the range practically back to normal.

My husband and I live in Galveston and have been trying for months to find out how to join the Club. Website doesn't work very well, and the application will not download. We are currently driving off the island to shoot but would love to be able to do so here. Can anyone help us???

Howdy - I hope you all have gotten someone to help you with the application. Being a new member myself, I can offer to do so if you have not.

Hey guys and gals, I'm new to the island (1 year) and am hoping to join the club as well, but I don't know any members personally. I'm over on the East side attending UTMB, and I've been dying to go shoot here lately. Any advice on obtaining a signature? I know my girlfriend will want to join as well, so maybe we'll do the family membership, if that's possible.

Thanks and hopefully I'll see y'all on the range soon.

Hi all,
I am a grad student at TAMUG and have been living on the island since 2008. I currently go off island to shoot but the Galveston Rifle and Pistol Club is just a mile from my house. Currently myself and a buddy of mine from the navy (also a paramedic) would really love to join but aren't sure how to go about contacting any of the members to sign an application. If any of you have information on how to do this we would be really greateful.
Thanks for your consideration.

For what it's worth, the Galveston Rifle and Pistol Club is sponsering a PASS match this morning. It's a good day to come out and see what the range looks like and to speak to people whoare members and guests. PASS is Premier Action Shooting Sports. Locally you can find out about PASS by going to: http://www.premieractionshootingsports.com or http://www.teamtrainwreck.idpaclub.org.
http://www.Galvestonrpc.com is working ok too.
