Best of the West Rifle?

Hey

So Best of the West in Liberty Hill's website says its rifle range is closed. Anybody know why?

It's not really my business, but I'm nosy.

I believe a developer nearby complained rounds were leaving the range. The rifle range has been shutdown (by judge order I believe) while Best of the West fights the accusations.
Neither a wise man or a brave man lies down on the tracks of history to wait for the train of the future to run over him.

Seems to be a theme... developers buying right next to or behind longstanding gun ranges[which were built when they were out in the country] and suddenly there are [reportedly] a bunch of rounds exiting the property. I think the reality is that they bought the land at a discount for the noise and "perceived danger" and play it up as if they saw a bunch of splashes in their construction site to turn it back into a big money making development. :banghead:

I know nothing about this particular range but the theme is real.

That stinks. I've had my eye on a new rifle and BotW was my go-to place to sight things in and get to know my new toys.. err...equipment.
