Finally joined the NRA today, mostly due to the gun club that I am trying to join requires it, and wanted to know if there was a way to get my membership number besides waiting for the membership package to come in the mail?

Call member services. Also, don’t forget to activate the free insurance when you get your member ID.

Rather than asking here, Contact the NRA by Phone: (800) 672-3888

Log on to NRA website & you can print your member id card from there.

I don’t think you can do that without his member ID. He just signed up so he doesn’t have it yet.

just a reminder, I just called and it takes 3 to 5 business days for it to register in to there system so you will want to wait at least 3 days before calling to get them to be able to retrieve your member number :)

Well it takes 2 weeks now before your in the system, if im not in it by then here comes a refund through paypal :)

Just found my e-mail from them, I did not know they sent me with my membership number and signed up, now waiting on my free gift and packet Plus I signed up for a extra year on top of the 5yr so I have 6 years :)

I did activate my insurance too :) thank you all here for the support :)

I signed up a few people for memberships on 8-March and they told me they received email confirmation and membership numbers from NRA yesterday... 11 days, including 2 weekends... so.. 7 business days, roughly.

It is my understanding (unconfirmed) that if you phone NRA after about 5 business days, they can tell you your membership number.
