The Waukesha killer now has yet a new bail set--a process he's very familiar with--for mowing down children and seniors. Bail has been set at $5 million, but Brooks will be out of jail for the holidays if he can find a bondsman to spot him. This after his tiny $1,000 bail, for running over the woman he has a child with, just three days before he decided to kill and main parade attendees

That bail amount was requested by Waukesha District Attorney Susan Opper, and evidently Wisconsin not a no-bail state, so some amount had to be set. Not counting the vehicular assault bail just three days before the attack, this cretin has had at least 12 convictions, and there is currently a warrant for his arrest in Nevada.

The 8-year-old boy who died yesterday, the 6th victim to succumb, was Jackson Sparks. He had to have emergency brain surgery after the attack, and died two days later. His 12-year-old brother was also seriously hurt; I don't know the status of his brother. God hold you forever close in His kingdom, Jackson.

Retraction: I've learned that Wisconsin does not have a no-bail option. So the DA was forced by law to set a bail, whether she wanted to do so or not. I'm striking some info in that previous post...but not deleting it because I personally feel that there are definitely instances where bail should not be an option.

Just now, Fox News is reporting that new evidence seems to show that Brooks intentionally struck as many people as he could, that additionally uncovered video shows him zig-zagging through the throng. In his twisted mind, presumably this may have been the same tactic as tipping over shelves and boxes as you run away from pursuers with the intent of the debris slowing them down.

Jackson Sparks and his brother were marching with their little league team when they were run down.

It wasn't titled that for very long. The current title is "2021 Waukesha Christmas parade attack." It had been changed from "attack" to "crash" ands then back again.

Wikipedia is like any other crowd-participant site: you get all kinds. The Wikipedia page was created just before 02:00 GMT on the 22nd, and there have already been over 700 edits to it. There's one twit in particular mucking with this page, user Harizotoh9, who wants to fight with and reject any edits that reference Fox News or the NY Post (but he/she thinks MSNBC is the gospel), or, basically, anything that paints the attacker in a negative light, and he/she has been deleting the word "attack" and similar. Also interesting is that a photo of Brooks was removed at one point; evidently because he doesn't fit the profile of what the left want to see as a mass murderer.

To Wikipedia's credit, they do have the big splash section at the top of the page that says, "This article documents a current event. Information may change rapidly as the event progresses, and initial news reports may be unreliable. The latest updates to this article may not reflect the most current information." I never look to Wikipedia for news...meaning rapidly evolving current events. They aren't a news outlet and don't pretend to be.

I'm with you on one level. The Joy Reids of the world are just what you describe. They have deliberately and aggressively replaced a Judeo-Christian morality with their own distorted, power-oriented standard, if you can call anything the fluctuates to serve their purpose a standard.

But I think that the quantity of those people is actually quite small - less than the population of repeat offender criminals here in the U.S. Of much greater concern to me is the people and organizations that are cowed by the true Leftists. That group is the real problem. I know of several people, for instance, who railed about Trump's mean tweets and who are now silent about kids being run over in the parade. I really want to drag them out of the corners in which they are hiding and rub their noses in the picture of Jackson Sparks and make them tell me how good of a thing that they think his death was and then explain to me how much better it was than Trump. But they aren't going to do that. They are going to continue to block out the atrocities that are committed in the name of BLM and then vote for the people who sponsor them. Without those voters and the sycophant businesses, Joy Reid would be just a tree falling in the woods. There aren't enough people watching her shows to matter.

It was political that he was let out of jail enabling the attack in the first place. This appears to be a racially and politically motivated attack. He should be charged accordingly.

A person who does not want a lawyer to represent them at a sanity hearing is usually insane.

Not sure if that is also the case at a criminal trial.

One problem with all trials that involve mass murder is that probably all defendants are crazy to begin with as they wouldn't have done it if they were "normal".

I'm not sure how it started that we don't jail or execute guilty crazy people.

I'm sure a liberal was behind it though.

"Sovereign citizen" a loaded term that means nothing in a court of law. It does not entitle the defendant any extra rights or privileges. He is facing 6 counts of homicide charges. He withdrew the insanity plea. His only possible defense strategy is to claim it was not him behind the steering wheel. I hope the trial is short and sweet.
