A rocky relationship between a Park Forest teen and his girlfriend ended in violence when he fatally stabbed her, her mother and her younger sister at their apartment on Chicago's South Side, authorities said at an emotional court hearing today.

Denzel Pittman, 18, nervously licked his lips as a Cook County prosecutor said an argument between Pittman and his girlfriend, Jade Hannah, 17, on Monday night just outside her mother's Morgan Park home ended in the triple slaying.
