Friendswood, League City: Robbers plead, woman on trial

#1

Post by seamusTX »

In Harris County court Monday two of the cream of America's youth pled to robbery in two incidents that occurred in Friendswood and League City in June 2010.

An alleged female accomplice pled not guilty in Galveston County court :headscratch and is scheduled for trial.

Note this little detail, which I did not see earlier and apparently no other forum member noted:
Two of the suspects also were indicted in Harris County on accusations they tried to rob another woman the same day at Baybrook Mall in Friendswood.

That woman, however, was armed and thwarted the attempt, League City police said.

Apparently one of the alleged offenses occurred in Harris County and the other in Galveston County. The county lines are gerrymandered all over the place in that area.

Residents of the trailer park where the suspects lived were not available for comment.
