The Marion County Sheriff's Office said the incident occurred at Forest High School in Ocala, Fla. The Ocala Star Banner reported a student shot another student in the ankle Friday morning.
It's a good thing they raised the minimum age for long gun purchases from FFLs to 21 so that things like this could be prevented, right? </sarcasm> :banghead:

1 injured and suspect in custody... i assume he didn tjust "give up"
Authorities credited the school's resource officer for quickly stepping in after hearing a "large, loud banging sound." The resource officer "immediately responded" and "recognized what we had at that time."
Imagine that... an ARMED guard stopped the shooting before the shooter could get off a 2nd round... i bet you wont hear this in the news!
