First known use of drone in attack on head of state

The attack on Maduro in Venezuela may have been an attempted assassination or just a ploy to arrest more of his opponents.

But in any event a drone was used in what may be the first real use of a drone in an assassination attempt.

My suspicion is that it was a fake attempt by Maduro. My reason is because it was so unsuccessful.

No decent drone or pilot would be that bad at flying.

Look for new laws.

The M600 from dji is an older customizable bird and may have had its gps hardware disabled or removed to get around the DJI software that might have prevented it from flying in that location. In that case an unskilled operator would have a hard time controlling, much less flying accurately. The article also said they used something to interfere with the rf control link of one bird.
How do you explain a dog named Sauer without first telling the story of a Puppy named Sig?

Venezuela is the model of our future with all these Democratic Socialists want to give every citizen and non-citizen the right to vote, free education, guaranteed job, free Basic Universal Income, etc.

Layabouts want everything given to them in the name of so-called social justice.

Nothing is free...socialists pin heads are like squawking, squalling babies.

Me want - You give me or I'll hold my breath until I turn blue, then you'll be sorry you didn't 'give me' what I want, free everything!

Opposition leader arrested for assassination attempt.

Conclusive proof Maduro was behind drone attack.

I'm surprised the United States hadn't used drones against opposing leaders in wars. Killing the guy calling the shots seems more effective than, not to mention morally superior to, killing thousands upon thousands of grunts who are most likely conscripts.
God, grant me serenity to accept the things I can't change
Courage to change the things I can
And the firepower to make a difference.

After Kennedy was assassinated, I think a law was passed that we wouldn’t try an assassinate any world leaders anymore.
