Thieves shoot man that approached them with a gun

Bonham Tx. Man carrying a gun tried to stop thieves from breaking into girlfriends car. He got shot twice. Details are VERY sketchy.

Bad situation. I would probably have tried to chase them off also. It reads like he came home and saw them breaking into her car. I wonder if he had the gun drawn on them or if he just hollered at them to get.

According to this article, he was holding an unloaded weapon. Not smart if he did this.

Wow, bad idea. The video in the original post his girl friend mentioned he was in security, investigator, and carried. Should have known better than to confront with an unloaded gun.
