Fort Bend County went almost entirely Democrat the last election. We may not be that far behind. At least Sheriff Nehls doesn't coddle criminals but I'm not sure how well the rest of the justice system is going to fare.
The blue is spreading like rot. Fort Bend County today isn't the same place that elected Tom DeLay.
I believe that Tom Delay may have been a big part of the cause of the red decay. and was just as destructive to the Republican party as Ann Richards was to the Democrats. Maybe if Shiela Jackon Lee would get more media attention we could swing the pendulum more to the right.
