FBI to investigate for civil rights violations.
"Civil rights violations"? How about murder?
That’s a violation of your civil rights. Murder is the local DA’s job.

I’m still trying to figure out the motive. A clerical error on the address that the police Chief is adamant didn’t happen is actually the best outcome for the police.

Houston Mayor Turner presents his gun control requests to the State Legislators, he does not say that it is in response to the wounding of four of his officers, but is in response to the High School mass murder near Houston.

How about Turner saying "the good thing to come out of this...", there is no good thing. Two homeowners and their dog are dead!

Art has a long history of lying.

Just saying.

Wasn't there recently some drama about the DA asking for more money to hire more prosecutors, and it getting denied by the commissioners court? I think it was a straight party line vote, 2 republicans in favor, 3 democrats opposed (double check me on this). This tickles my crazy conspiracy theorist hairs.

Yeah there was.

Acevedo concerned about a prosecutor shortage

I think it would be generous to call the links tenuous at best, but it is a timely coincidence.

I still believe that the wrong house was raided. I hope the police investigators are looking at the addresses that the C.I.s actually visited.

FBI to investigate for civil rights violations.
One of the biggest lies ever told.
"I am pleased they (the FBI) have opened a formal civil rights investigation," Acevedo said. "We welcome it in the spirit of transparency."
Lol I can actually believe he said that, too.
I believe he is being transparent - I can see right through him.

First Goines case dismissed by DA. Women had been in jail 4 months, they were not ready for trial.

I appreciate the DA limiting my liability to pay the woman’s damages.

No article yet but one of the Houston area reporters posted this on facebook. I wonder if they were just claiming to see guns as justification for no-knocks.

https://www.facebook.com/KHOUJeremyRoga ... 184629237/
EXCLUSIVE: KHOU11 Investigates past cases of embattled Houston Police officer Gerald Goines. In more than 100 drug cases, he claimed an informant saw guns inside suspected drug-dealing homes. But ZERO guns were seized as evidence in those cases.

It was expressed as a knowledgeable rumor on the radio by the Three Amigos ( one is a retired judge others are at the State house )

It’s bad. Time for police to come clean and tell us.

Two kilos of black tar Heroin were found in Goines vehicle.

None of the wounds in the officers match weapons found in the home.

The police shot themselves?
I am not and have never been a LEO. My avatar is in honor of my friend, Dallas Police Sargent Michael Smith, who was murdered along with four other officers in Dallas on 7.7.2016.

The police shot themselves?
There is video showing blood splatter on the outside of the house and on the outside of the front door. As I understand it the drug dealers and their dog were all safely inside their house so presumably any shots they might have fired would have made blood splatter on the inside of the house or the inside of the door. So it looks like maybe yes, the police shot themselves.

I suppose the dog might have dragged its dying self outside and give itself one last shake and that could account for the blood splatter outside.
