This happened about a mile and a half from where I used to live in Houston when I attended high school there in the late sixties.
It was Sharpstown Mall back then.
I heard this entire area has "gone downhill" since then.

I lived one block away from that mall in the very early 70's. At that time it was a classy mall with Good Time Charlie eating area on the second floor and a large pipe organ and other things. That whole sharptown area is very bad now.

Memphis rapper murdered in Houston. Body found in ditch. Police shot spotter alerted police. Man leaves behind five children.

Bounty hunters killed a man they were looking for in Houston. He may have also been a rapper or something. Shot once with a rifle. BH said he shot first. So do they still get paid?

13 yo driver of a car on Interstate 610 North was shot and killed at 12:50 am by someone in an other car. His 13 yo passenger was wounded. Another 16 yo passenger who was not injured in the shooting is not cooperating with police.

In West Texas the van pick up head on collision that killed 9 earlier this week, when the pick riding on a spare had a blow out and crossed the center line. That pick up was being driven by a 13 yo as well.

I am fuming after reading this story. It’s makes me so furious thinking about why the father would not just do as instructed and not resist the robbers.
He could’ve gotten his innocent son killed.
People have got to wise up and learn that you should never, ever put up a fight when being robbed.”

Son was being pistol whipped by one robber then tried to run away and was shot, other robber then murdered dad.

I cant tell if comment is sarcasm.

Asian family tied up at home by 3 home invaders. Dad not a good shot. Didn’t keep gun loaded. Had to load it. Shot at them as they were fleeing in the day time. Most likely Democrats who could run really fast.

Sorry, these two changes in red make the summary a lot more clear. I thought you were trying to say the father had murdered his son.

Yeah we have that too, usually at home not at a self car wash.

I did that today washed my car at a self serve. There was a line at each stall. I picked the wrong one as usual.

My Son, DIL and two very young and beautiful grand children live out there. They moved to Sugar Land several months back. I visited at Thanksgiving. Really nice home with a acre or two lot. I even saw a small heard of white tailed deer running through a small greenbelt behind his house. He tells me it is lower crime there but when I went out with him to get some Christmas decorations and take out Chinese food, I could not believe the amount of people around there. Last time I had been to sugar Land was more than 39 years ago to visit my youngest brother at the pre-release prison there. He had just turned 18 and a night of joy riding with some of his ignorant friends turned real bad for him. Collin county doesn't play when it comes to destruction of property and credit card theft. They had found a card in a dressing room and... well...he was real stupid. Point is, there was nothing out there back then but fields.
