KS: OC'er disarmed by thief

Wichita:
In the video, the man appears to be crouching down and is facing the driver’s side door of a car that Wichita police said Wednesday was parked in his driveway. A male who looks to be in his teens sneaks up behind the man and quickly yanks the handgun from a holster on the man’s waist.
Read more here: https://www.kansas.com/news/local/crime ... rylink=cpy

The man got to experience having his own gun pointed at him, then being shot at with his own gun.

There is a video at the link but I can't get it to play.

Talk about BOLD. Wow!

I wonder if the victim had any idea he was there, but didn't think anyone would be brazen enough to do that.
I am not and have never been a LEO. My avatar is in honor of my friend, Dallas Police Sargent Michael Smith, who was murdered along with four other officers in Dallas on 7.7.2016.

That was always a fear of mine a couple of times I OC'd. I hope they catch him before he commits a crime with that gun.

:iagree:

I have to think he was lined up and knew the target, or at least had been watching him a while

I've seen the arguments pro and con. Those who wish to OC may do so without remark from me. But I'll continue to CC.

A simple snap-type retention strap would have prevented that.

Yeah, I'm sure he started watching when he noticed the guy carrying a gun...
