BG does not and now with free use of the hammer begins beating Pelosi about the head.

Police do not shoot BG with hammer, probably repeat drop the hammer a few times, while he gets some good licks in. Since BG does not have a gun, most likely due to SF PD policy, they cannot shoot, so instead, at risk of being injured, they use non deadly physical force and tackle BG.

Pelosi is seriously injured.

This is the current official story, as released by the police except they say the hammers were brought in by DePape. It might even be true. But it doesn't match the original stories, which have changed several times.

One interesting part is that Politico reporters are attacking the Republicans for spreading misinformation about the possibility of a third person there. They claim it is misinformation. Republicans answer that it was published in Politico first.
