Enlightening statistics regarding U.S. murder rates

This is a very interesting list of murder rates for the top 67 cities in the U.S. Houston, soon to be the 3rd largest city in the Country, was number 47 while many northern states were much higher. Some of the highest have strict gun-control laws.

Here is a sampling of the list: Beaumont was #53 with 10.9 murders per 100,000 population; Dallas #49 with 11.4/100,000; Houston was #47 with 11.8/100,000. Springfield, Mass #41 with 12.2/100,000; Toledo #36 with 13.5/100,000; Rochester, NY #34 with 14/100,000; Fort Wayne #30 with 14.9/100,000; Rockford, IL #29 with 15.7/100,000; Syracuse #28 with 16.1/100,000; Oakland #27 with 16.3/100,000; Milwaukee #26 with 16.6/100,000; Chicago #16 with 20.7/100,000; San Bernardino #12 with 22.5/100,000; Washington DC #10 with 22.8/100,000; Detroit #3 with 38.9/100,000; Baltimore #2 with 51/100,000; and St. Louis #1 with 60.9 /100,000.

Obviously, I left out many other cities with murder rates much higher than Houston or Dallas. Texas had only three cities in the top 67 in the U.S.

Unfortunately St. Louis sticks out as Missouri has freedom when it comes to guns.

But Chicago Baltimore and Washington DC certainly fit the narrative.

But at least in St. Louis you can legally defend yourself.

But as we saw with St.Louis, it comes at a price.

I’m not going to ensure I’m correct, just assuming that every one of those cities is and has been under Democrat’s’ control.
