That shows how much they value the lives of students, faculty, and staff. Each and every one of them should have to face the voting public being reminded during elections, especially the primary elections where we have a real choice.

Re: SB354 04-18 Senate session video
FWIW, Representative (Sid) Miller spoke at our city/schoolboard candidate forum Thursday, and he's pretty much lost confidence in 354 making it to a vote this session, so he was hoping they could gather enough support to get this one through.hirundo82 wrote:It's a decriminalization bill--it provides an exception to §46.03 for CHL holders carrying on college premises, without the prohibition on colleges making their own regulations prohibiting carry. If it's all we can get this session it's a good start as far as I'm concerned, especially since §30.06 notice would presumably be invalid at public colleges (as with all other government property).RPB wrote:Public hearing on HB 2178 Another guns on campus bill. That's one solution to the Texas legislature blocking campus carry and parking lot bills.RHenriksen wrote:When in doubt, reboot.Jasonw560 wrote:Can't get real player on either device I have. Keep us informed.
