Once again, I waited to long :banghead: Maybe it's me, but not sure how much knowledge I would retain with this style of training; in 2-3 hour blocks.

Only you can decide how best to spend your training budget. The instructors are the best in the nation. Tom Givens picks and invites them. The ticket is less than $600. If you live in the Metroplex, you can skip the hotel expense. However, had I not stayed at the hotel, I would have missed a pleasant conversation with John and Vickie Farnam. You have a year to decide about attending Tac-Con 2024.

Take a look at the course descriptions from 2021: https://secureservercdn.net/166.62.110. ... hedule.pdf

Watch the "Meet the Trainers" videos (scroll down): https://taccon.info/videos/

On the range, I got to spend:
4 hours live-fire learning how to use my Holosun from Scott Jedlinski. https://www.modernsamuraiproject.com/
2 hours classroom with Caleb Causey (Lone Star Medics), including Q&A, on EDC Medical Gear
2 hours classroom with John Murhpy covering recognition-based decision modeling with Q&A
4 hours classroom with Ed Monk on Active Killer Response with Q&A
2 hours live-fire with Wayne Dobbs on One Handed Pistol
2 hours classroom with Massad Ayoob on Lessons From Recent Cases with Q&A
2 hours live-fire with John Daub learning AIWB (new to me)
2 hours classroom with Eric Gelhaus on best practices to not get shot by responding law enforcement. During Q&A, found out that Gelhaus had been one of my students at Fort Sill Artillery School.
2 hours live-fire (Holosun) with Karl Rehn on Low Round-Count Training, with tips on how to use the dot well
2 hours classroom with attorney Andrew Branca on the Law of Self Defense with Q&A

Be safe and keep training!
