WTS: LNIB Ruger AR 556 SOLD!
My age and health have pretty much restricted me to air rifle shooting from our patio. This rifle was bought on a whim a year or so ago and has had less than a 100 rounds ran through it. I have installed Kaw Valley trigger springs which reduces trigger pull from ~8 down to ~4 lbs. Other than that, it is just like it came in its original box. Original box, manual and trigger springs will come with the gun.
I would like to have $500 plus $25 shipping if necessary OR will consider a trade for a .177 cal. HW98 in like condition. Payment by Paypal F&F, Money Order or personal check.
I've forgot how to post a photo but I can e-mail as many as you might want. Thanks for looking.

Which version is it? Ruger offers 17 versions of the "plain Jane" model, and 5 versions of the upgraded MPR model. Sorry to hear about your health.

Model # 8500. Thanks, it's more the age than the health. You know, worn out baack, knees, etc.

Thanks for your interest in this rifle. I'm afraid AR's are gonna' get awful scarce in the not to distant future. Like it or not.JDstar wrote: ↑Mon Aug 12, 2019 6:00 pm Link w/model & specs

Right! I have another one, just in case I need it. I would like to sell this one to fund an HW98 air rifle purchase.

I responded to a PM last evening; I'm sorry, is there another one I've somehow missed? I am certainly open to discussion and will not knowingly fail to respond to any reasonable, and legal, discussion.

I have a spare stripped lower and stripped upper in my safe, and 3 LPKs, but I’m going to buy 2 more receiver sets in the next couple of days, just to have them on hand before prices go up again. I already have an offer from a friend with property off the beaten path way out in the boondocks to let me move my MSRs and spare parts in a safe out to the barn on his property. And I’ll buy a cheap single shot or bolt action .223 rifle to "justify" the ammo I already have on hand at my house to the commies if I have to. OTH, if they actually move to confiscate MSRs, it’s time to start cutting heads anyway, so maybe it’s better not to hide them offsite at that point.carlson1 wrote: ↑Mon Aug 12, 2019 8:26 pmNot only scarce, but maybe not be able to buy one at all or sale the one you have.Oldgringo wrote: ↑Mon Aug 12, 2019 7:55 pmThanks for your interest in this rifle. The funny thing is, as much as the commies fear and hate the AR and it’s puny cartridge, wait until they start getting plinked with .30 caliber and larger "hunting" rifles from standoff distances. Heck, even the lowly .30-30 can leave a mark from a ways away.

The AR's have garnered much undeserved publicity of late. I fear they will soon be placed in the same category as the Tommy gun.The Annoyed Man wrote: ↑Wed Aug 14, 2019 12:00 amI have a spare stripped lower and stripped upper in my safe, and 3 LPKs, but I’m going to buy 2 more receiver sets in the next couple of days, just to have them on hand before prices go up again. You can buy a Tommy Gun if you have the money.

As of this writing, new semi-automatic versions of the Thompson are for sale. Made by Auto Ordnance, a subdivision of Kahr Arms.
On another note, good luck on your sale. That seems like a reasonable price, 100 rounds through an AR is nothing, and Ruger makes firearms that last.
