Wife bought me heavy armor for Christmas
I love it. Level 4 ceramic, weights about 18lbs.

I hope you can wear it comfortably enough to have all the time on duty.
I am not and have never been a LEO. My avatar is in honor of my friend, Dallas Police Sargent Michael Smith, who was murdered along with four other officers in Dallas on 7.7.2016.

This armor is for the worst case scenario where I have to grab my rifle. I'll dump my soft armor and throw this on.C-dub wrote:

Very nice! Their website says they're stand alone, multi-impact plates. I retired about 5 years ago from the Army, & the ones we had then required the soft ballistic armor underneath for it to be truly effective for protecting against rifle rounds. Praying you never need to don them.

She already got a belly band holster she wanted at the local gun show. I also got her a papa cord watch band for her Casio she wanted.Mike S wrote:Very nice!
