Something new for us - not a handgun class, but a Beginner's Guide to the AR-15 Rifle!

Saturday, July 13, 9:00AM to about 3:00PM

St Peter Lutheran Church, 15701 Cleveland Gibbs Rd, Roanoke, 76262

Taught by our associate, Chuck Fongsamouth - this will be an AR-15 101 Class.

Learn to load, shoot, clean, and maintain the AR-15.

We will start with firearm safety and familiarization in the classroom, then move to the range for live fire instruction.

Class fee is $50. Bring your rifle and 50 rounds of ammo.

Class size is limited to 10 only, so PM or email us to reserve a place.

What kind of ammo are we allowed to shoot?

Apparently, in my allergy medicine induced haze (non-drowsy, my eye!), I left out some vital info.

Post has been edited to include that. Thank you.

I've double checked, so I'm really going to be  if I'm wrong here, but isn't July 15, a Monday? Will this class be on Saturday, the 13th, or on Monday, the 15th?

Glad she enjoyed it. Chuck was fantastic! He truly is an AR-15 expert. And a great teacher too.

We do plan to schedule another range day so we can shoot more when it is not so blazing hot!
