The [63 yo] man was walking with another person at 6:19 p.m. in the 8000 block of South Oglesby when the 16-year-old boy and his three accomplices pulled out weapons and demanded their property, according to Chicago Police. The man then pulled out his own gun and shot the boy in his knee, at which point the other suspects ran off.
The man had a CCL and a gun, the junior robber had a replica, looked just real enough to buy him a trip to the hospital in serious condition.

Should have just shot the replica out of the poor child's hand instead of actually injuring him. He is actually a nice young man that never gets in trouble after all.

Is south side of Chicago still the baddest part of town?
Kid is lucky he didn't take one to center mass.
The left lies about everything. Truth is a liberal value, and truth is a conservative value, but it has never been a left-wing value. People on the left say whatever advances their immediate agenda. Power is their moral lodestar; therefore, truth is always subservient to it. - Dennis Prager

And, he was only on his way to practice for the church choir and needed money for the collection plate. Sheesh, the nerve of some people..... :totap:

Tough break, guy can't even make an honest living robbing people on the street without getting shot in the knee. What is this world coming too.

One more act of "gun violence" that the Brady Campaign desperately wishes it could end ;-)
